Helping those 'in need' is a demonstration of our faith.
The focus group meet periodically to consider and make recommendation on Charities that should be supported by the PCC. The APCM request the PCC to target to give an amount equal to 10% of its direct and indirect normal income each year to external charities. You are welcome to join us. S
Christian Aid remains a major supported charity, Christian Aid is a Christian organisation that insists the world can and must be swiftly changed to one where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. They work globally for profound change that eradicates the causes of poverty, striving to achieve equality, dignity and freedom for all, regardless of faith or nationality.
Even though Christian Aid Week is over for 2020 we will still strive to support their work.

During the Covid 19 emergency ALL Groups are suspended
At the end of each year the Focus Group meet to consider the small change charities for the coming year. There are so many needs – it is not an easy task. In 2018 the PCC decided that there would be one ‘small change collection’ charity supported for the whole year. It is currently Christian Aid.
From time to time throughout the Year it is hoped to facilitate special events for Christian Aid and other charities. Please see the magazine and weekly notices for details.
